Abstract: El siguiente trabajo muestra las etapas que han formado parte de la intervención de terapia ocupacional (T.O) en el tratamiento y protetización con mano Michelanguelo en la amputación de miembro superior a causa de un accidente laboral. Aunque el tratamiento se plantea desde el departamento de T.O., es una labor de equipo donde al final del tratamiento se refleja la importancia, no solo de los rendimientos funcionales alcanzados por el paciente, sino también de la importancia que tiene en toda rehabilitación un buen equilibrio emocional. The present work shows the steps that have been part of the intervention of Occupational Therapy (OT) in the treatment and supply with Michelanguelo hand in upper limb amputation because of an accident. Although treatment arises from the OT department is a team effort where the end of treatment reflects the importance not only of functional yields achieved by the patient, but also the importance of rehabilitation across a good balance emotional.
