Resumen: In this paper, we define non-stationary fractal interpolation surfaces on a rectangular domain and give some upper bounds for their fractal dimension. Next, we define a fractal operator associated with the non-stationary fractal surfaces, and study some properties of it. In particular, we hint at the existence of a Schauder basis consisting of non-stationary fractal functions.
