Un sello inédito sobre dolivm del Mvnicipivm Cascantvm (Cascante, Navarra)

Resumen: En este trabajo damos a conocer un contexto arqueológico de una de las villae que dibujaron el paisaje rural en el Valle del Queiles durante época altoimperial romana. Se trata del yacimiento arqueológico de “Piecordero I” que está siendo excavado ininterrumpidamente desde el año 2007; las numerosas campañas de prospección y excavación arqueológica realizadas nos están permitiendo conocer la cultura material de este tipo de asentamientos en el ager de Cascantum, así como la articulación de la sociedad que la habitó. El estudio se centra en un sello sobre dolia inédito localizado en la pars rustica, que nos aporta nuevos datos sobre la élite local y el paisaje productivo agrícola en época Altoimperial.
In this work we present an archaeological context of one of the villae that drew the rural landscape in the Queiles Valley during the Early Empire. The archaeological site of "Piecordero I" is being excavated uninterruptedly since 2007, the numerous campaigns of excavation and archaeological survey carried out are allowing us to know the material culture of this type of settlements in the ager of Cascantum, as well as the articulation of the society that inhabited it. The study focuses on a stamp on unpublished dolium located in the pars rustica, which gives us new data on the local elite and agricultural productive landscape in the Early Empire.
