Notas: ABSTRACT Myopia is a refractive defect that affects 27% of the world population. Its incidence increases in an accelerated way becoming a public health problem, with an economic and social impact. Recent studies have observed a direct connection between the myopia development with a growth of the axial length of the eyeball, due to the refraction in myopic is hypermetropized towards the periphery and can lead to the eyeball growth as a mechanism to achieve clarity in it. The main goal of this study is to evaluate the subjective visual quality with two types of Dual-Focus contact lenses to 10 patients in total. Viasual acuity was assessed in photopic and scotopic conditions and with 30% contrast. Also, it was measured deep vision (or stereopsis) and the measurement of night vision halos. In the end, it was carried out a questionnaire of quality and comfort to patients after putting them on. The results obtained are that Lens A has a higher visual quality than Lens B. Regarding visual acuity, both lenses provide good results. Visual acuity with low contrast decreases slightly with Lens B. Stereopsis is worse with Lens B and additionally, this produces more halos. Finally, patients have difficulty focusing going from far to close visión using Lens A the first days, symptom that with Lens B doesn’t happen. And besides, the use of Lens A is more comfortable than Lens B.
