E. Bloch's philosophy is developed in a crossroads built on four representative figures of the history of philosophy: Aristotle, Hegel, Marx and Freud. The analysis of the "utopian function", understood as the human capacity to subvert the order of the real, is the heart of the work. Therefore, it is postulated as a philosophical tool capable of transfiguring and change the current status quo. Throughout the monograph, some major problems associated with the work of Bloch are stated. The fundamental issue deals with the difficult articulation between human utopian projections and the world understood as utopian topos, i.e. between the transforming capacity of utopian thought and the material limits imposed by given conditions. Solving this link between utopia and matter requires challenging the traditional notion of subjectivity. 000009158 520__ $$aEl objetivo principal de la monografía consiste en rescatar, desde una perspectiva crítica, las nociones más relevantes que configuran el pensamiento blochiano con la intención de comprobar el alcance de su filosofía en la actualidad. A través de cuatro figuras representativas de la historia de la filosofía (Aristóteles, Hegel, Marx y Freud) queda trazada la encrucijada en la que se desarrolla la filosofía de E. Bloch. El análisis de la “función utópica”, entendida como la potencia humana subversora del orden de lo real, es el punto central del trabajo. Por ello, ésta se postula como herramienta filosófica capaz de transfigurar y modificar el actual estado de cosas existente. A lo largo del monográfico, quedan manifiestos algunos de los principales problemas que conlleva la obra de Bloch. La problemática fundamental gira en torno a la difícil articulación entre las proyecciones utópicas humanas y el mundo comprendido como topos utópico, esto es, entre la capacidad transformadora del pensamiento utópico y los límites materiales impuestos por las condiciones dadas.
