Análisis del mercado laboral utilizando los microdatos de la Encuesta de Población Activa (EPA)

Resumen: Este Trabajo Final de Grado tiene como objetivo analizar el mercado laboral utilizando los datos proporcionados por la Encuesta de Población Activa, centrándose en el estudio del perfil del parado y la evolución de sus características entre los años 2007 y 2019.
El año 2007 fue la antesala de la crisis económica que afectó profundamente también al mercado laboral y se compara con el último año del que se tienen datos completos, 2019, con el objetivo de contrastar los datos que nos ofrece la EPA para ambos años.
Las variables escogidas nos permiten determinar cómo era el parado en 2007 en cuanto a características como sexo, edad, nivel de formación, tiempo de búsqueda de empleo y sector económico; y como es en la actualidad (2019). La comparación de ambos perfiles nos dará información acerca de si la crisis económica ha cambiado el mapa de los parados y qué variables han sufrido cambios en cada caso.
Las tablas de la EPA con los datos utilizados en este trabajo son publicadas por el Instituto Nacional de Estadística (INE) en su página web y han sido procesadas mediante Microsoft Excel.
This Final Degree Project aims to analyze the labour market using the data provided by the Labour Force Survey (LFS), focusing on the study of the unemployed profile and the evolution of their characteristics between 2007 and 2019.
2007 was the prelude to the economic crisis that also deeply affected the labour market and is compared with the last year for which we have complete data, 2019, in order to contrast the data that the LFS offers us for both years.
The chosen variables allow us to determine how the unemployed person was like in 2007 compared to 2019 in terms of characteristics such as sex, age, education level, job search time and economic sector. The comparison of both profiles will give us information about whether the economic crisis has changed the map of the unemployed and the variables that have had changes in each case.
The LFS tables with the data used in this work are published by the Spanish National Statistics Institute on its website and they have been processed using Microsoft Excel.
