Jane Austen en el Bósforo. Referentes literarios en las telenovelas turcas. Estudio de caso de Kiralik Ask (2015).

Las telenovelas son un género narrativo con larga tradición tanto en el cine como
en la televisión, con un éxito constante en las pantallas desde hace más de setenta años.
El objetivo de este trabajo consiste en estudiar los referentes literarios de la telenovela
turca Kiralik Ask (2015-2017), procedentes de la cuentística tradicional, la mitología y,
en particular, de la novela de Jane Austen, Orgullo y Prejuicio (1813). Para conseguir
este propósito, la metodología desarrollada ha incluido diferentes etapas como la consulta
de fuentes especializadas, el visionado completo de la obra, la creación de hojas para el
registro de datos y el estudio analítico de la información obtenida. Entre los principales
resultados destaca la identificación y el inventariado de las fuentes literarias y de su
funcionamiento dentro de las estructuras narrativas de la telenovela, para la definición de
los personajes y la construcción de temas y tramas narrativas.

Abstract:
The soap opera are a narrative gender with a long tradition, both in the cinema
and tv, with a constant success on the screens for more than seventy years. The objective
of this work consists of studying the literary referents of the turkish soap opera Kiralik
Ask (2015-2017), coming from the traditional storytelling, mythology and, in particular,
of the Jane Austen’s novel, Pride and Prejudice (1813). To obtain this purpose, the
developed methodology has included different phases like the consultation of specialized
information sources, the complete viewing of the production, the creation of sheets for
the data register and the analytic study of the obtained information. Among the main
results, highlights the identification and the inventoried of literary sources and its
operation within the narrative structures of the soap opera for the definition of the
characters and the construction of themes and narratives plots.
