Importancia del monasterio en el reino de Aragón: Simbolismo político, religioso y cultural del monasterio en la Alta Edad Media en Aragón.

Abstract: En la actualidad, el cine y la literatura han iluminado la figura de los castillos como el elemento central de la Edad Media tanto en Aragón, como en el resto de la península ibérica y el mundo occidental, extendiendo su importancia más allá de su función estratégica y defensiva en una época marcada por la guerra y la conquista. Sin embargo el presente trabajo pretende analizar la importancia decisiva del monasterio en el reino de Aragón y su simbolismo político, religioso y cultural en la Alta Edad Media en este territorio. En este estudio atenderemos a diversos ejemplos de los monasterios más relevantes en Aragón en la Alta Edad Media, así como su impacto social, religioso y político en el territorio aragonés. Además, analizaremos la figura de los reyes aragoneses desde Ramiro I a Alfonso I el Batallador y finalmente abordaremos la temática del Santo Grial en Aragón y su significación, desde un punto de vista mítico y legendario, tomando como referencia la figura de Alfonso I y el Mito Artúrico.
Abstract:Nowadays, cinema and literature have illuminated the figure of castles as the central element of the Middle Ages both in Aragon and in the rest of the Iberian Peninsula and the Western world, extending their importance beyond their strategic and defensive function in a period marked by war and conquest. However, the present work aims to analyse the decisive importance of the monastery in the kingdom of Aragon and its political, religious and cultural symbolism in the early Middle Ages in this territory. In this study we will look at various examples of the most important monasteries in Aragon in the Early Middle Ages, as well as their social, religious and political impact on the Aragonese territory. In addition, we will analyse the figure of the Aragonese kings from Ramiro I to Alfonso I the Battler and finally we will deal with the subject of the Holy Grail in Aragon and its significance, from a mythical and legendary point of view, taking as a reference the figure of Alfonso I and the Arthurian Myth
