Monitoring post-fire recovery dynamics is crucial for evaluating resilience andsecuring the relevant information that will enhance manage-ment and support ecosystem restoration after fires. Comparedto the extensive and labour-intensive field campaigns, remotesensing provides a time- and cost-effective tool to monitorpost-fire vegetation recovery (PVR). This concise literaturereview presents tools and recent advances in remote sensingtechniques, focusing on the most commonly used sensors andindicators/metrics. It also provides recommendations on theuse of these tools for assessing vegetation recovery and onexisting gaps regarding technical limitations that could guidefuture research.</dc:description><dc:date>2021</dc:date><dc:source>http://zaguan.unizar.es/record/109361</dc:source><dc:doi>10.1016/j.coesh.2021.100251</dc:doi><dc:identifier>http://zaguan.unizar.es/record/109361</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>oai:zaguan.unizar.es:109361</dc:identifier><dc:relation>info:eu-repo/grantAgreement/ES/UZ/CUD2020-HUM-02</dc:relation><dc:identifier.citation>Current Opinion in Environmental Science and Health 21 (2021), 100251 [9 pp.]</dc:identifier.citation><dc:rights>by-nc-nd</dc:rights><dc:rights>http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/es/</dc:rights><dc:rights>info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess</dc:rights></dc:dc>
