La etiopatogenia multicausal de la enfermedad, el retraso de crecimiento como síntoma guía pediátrico, las pruebas complementarias, los más plausibles diagnósticos diferenciales o el tratamiento en función de la clasificación del brote, son tan sólo algunos de los temas que se tratan en esta combinación de revisión y caso clínico. Se pretende por ende ayudar al clínico en su manejo y comprensión de la patología desde el primer síntoma del paciente, en este largo recorrido diagnóstico hasta el tratamiento y seguimiento, ofreciendo ayudas prácticas en base a la revisión efectuada. Palabras clave: Enfermedad de Crohn – Pediatría – Artritis - Retraso de crecimiento- Revisión – Niños – Adalimumab – Inmunosupresión - Colonoscopia A bibliographic review has been carried out in relation to a clinical case of pediatric Chron’s disease with the aim of updating current knowledge of this inflammatory bowel disease. The multicausal etiology of this disease, delayed growth as a pediatric symptom guide, supplementary tests, the most plausible differential diagnoses or treatment regarding the classification of the outbreak, are just some of the issues addressed in this combined clinical case report and literature review. The aim of this review is to help doctors in managing and understanding the pathology from the appearance of the very first symptom to the treatment and clinical follow up. Practical help and advice based on the review is offered.
