The importance and uniqueness of the Primer Ensanche of Teruel, included within the delimitation of the Historical Site, declared as place of Cultural Interest in 2010, necessitated a detailed study that allowed to elaborate a Special Protection Plan that preserves its historical image, with sufficient rigor. One of the essential questions for its correct conservation is the knowledge of the constructive characteristics of the buildings that form it, which has been possible thanks to the documentary study of the projects, and which has revealed the innovations of some of its constructions, but, above all, certain inertia in the evolution of the way to build the “minor heritage”, which characterizes the landscape of the city. © 2021.
