Notas: Currently, there is a greater concern for oral health and aesthetics in society. Accordingly, tooth whitening has become a common and routine practice in the dental office. This treatment is especially relevant when it comes to improving the self-esteem and mental health of the patient. Based on clinical experience and scientific evidence, this end-of-degree project exposes the diagnosis, prognosis and treatment plan of two patients treated at the Dental Practices of the Faculty of Health Science and Sports of Huesca, from the University of Zaragoza. The purpose of this work is to carry out a review of the literature on the different dental whitening techniques that are available today. In addition, its efficacy, adverse effects and authorized products will be determinated.
