For data collection, a semi-structured questionnaire was obtained on sociodemographic characteristics, perception and health care, use of the health system and lifestyles. In addition, health literacy was assessed using the European Health Literacy Questionnaire.Results6.1% of the participants had an inadequate level of health literacy and 36.5% problematic. The probability of having sufficient health literacy is directly associated with age; and inversely with smoking, prolonged screen time and living alone (p < 0.05).Conclusion: A large percentage of nursing students need to improve their health literacy skills. It is necessary to integrate a greater number of contents in health literacy in the curriculum of nursing students. 000126874 540__ $$9info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess$$aby$$uhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/es/ 000126874 590__ $$a3.0$$b2023 000126874 592__ $$a0.895$$b2023 000126874 591__ $$aPUBLIC, ENVIRONMENTAL & OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH$$b115 / 408 = 0.282$$c2023$$dQ2$$eT1 000126874 593__ $$aPublic Health, Environmental and Occupational Health$$c2023$$dQ1 000126874 591__ $$aPUBLIC, ENVIRONMENTAL & OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH$$b115 / 408 = 0.282$$c2023$$dQ2$$eT1 000126874 594__ $$a4.8$$b2023 000126874 655_4 $$ainfo:eu-repo/semantics/article$$vinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersion 000126874 700__ $$0(orcid)0000-0003-0053-1429$$aGranada-López, José Manuel$$uUniversidad de Zaragoza 000126874 700__ $$0(orcid)0000-0002-8206-4803$$aAntón-Solanas, Isabel$$uUniversidad de Zaragoza 000126874 700__ $$aCobos-Rincón, Ana 000126874 700__ $$aRodríguez-Calvo, Antonio 000126874 700__ $$aGea-Caballero, Vicente 000126874 700__ $$aTejada-Garrido, Clara Isabel 000126874 700__ $$aJuárez-Vela, Raúl 000126874 700__ $$0(orcid)0000-0002-4753-630X$$aEchániz-Serrano, Emmanuel$$uUniversidad de Zaragoza 000126874 7102_ $$11006$$2255$$aUniversidad de Zaragoza$$bDpto.
