Se examina más concretamente la construcción de una identidad femenina en la Irlanda postcolonial que presentan estas novelas, a través de la religión, la historia y la sexualidad, conformando así una identidad femenina híbrida y liminal. * This essay analyzes Edna O'Brien's A Pagan Place (1970) and Mother Ireland (1976) from a postcolonial perspective.
