000131109 5203_ $$aResistive sensor arrays (RSA) exhibit crosstalk between adjacent cells. The issues mainly related to parasitic coupling (crosstalk) that needs to be reduced. This crosstalk is due to a double effect. Firstly, the impossibility of isolating a single sensor when its corresponding row and column are selected by means of switches. Secondly, the internal resistances of these switches also affect sensor measurement. Several readout circuits have been proposed to neutralize the first effect. Two of the most relevant circuits are called the zero potential method (ZPM) and the voltage feedback method (VFM). However, these circuits do not correct the second effect. To solve this, in a previous study a least-square algorithm was successfully applied to the ZPM circuit. This paper applies the same algorithm to the VFM circuit, showing its generalization ability to comprehensively correct crosstalk. Results show that this optimization approach is suitable for several RSA readout circuits.
