Treatment of a toluene solution of 2 with 2-vinylpyridine leads to the 1,2-dihydro-3-ruthenaindolizine derivative tiebar above startRu(CH2CH2−C5H4tiebar above endN)Tp(PiPr3) (3). Complex 3 aromatizes in toluene at 80 °C to afford the 3-ruthenaindolizine complex tiebar above startRu(CHCH−C5H4tiebar above endN)Tp(PiPr3) (4) by loss of a hydrogen molecule in the absence of any hydrogen acceptor. The aromatic character of 4 is supported by X-ray diffraction analysis, NMR spectroscopy, and DFT calculations.</dc:description><dc:date>2009</dc:date><dc:source>http://zaguan.unizar.es/record/131133</dc:source><dc:doi>10.1021/om900442m</dc:doi><dc:identifier>http://zaguan.unizar.es/record/131133</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>oai:zaguan.unizar.es:131133</dc:identifier><dc:relation>info:eu-repo/grantAgreement/ES/DGA/E35</dc:relation><dc:relation>info:eu-repo/grantAgreement/ES/MICINN/CSD2007-00006</dc:relation><dc:relation>info:eu-repo/grantAgreement/ES/MICINN/CTQ2008-00810</dc:relation><dc:identifier.citation>Organometallics 28, 16 (2009), 4876-4879</dc:identifier.citation><dc:rights>All rights reserved</dc:rights><dc:rights>http://www.europeana.eu/rights/rr-f/</dc:rights><dc:rights>info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess</dc:rights></dc:dc>
