Resumen: This paper presents a newly discovered defixio, or curse tablet, from Verona, unearthed during an emergency excavation along the ancient Via Postumia. The study examines the context and significance of the tablet, which features a list of names followed by the verb 'defi go'. It discusses the archaeological findings, the dating of the tablet, and its relations to burial customs of the period. The author also critiques previous interpretations regarding associated grave goods, emphasizing the typical nature of certain artifacts found within the same tomb.
