L’atenció profunda per aquest territori demostra la inquietud d’un literat-explorador per recrear aquelles vivències més íntimes de l’autor. A la novel·la curta «Callastres», dins la seua obra Col·locació de personatges en un jardí tancat (1993), Cerdà configura una heterotopia literària d’aquest llogaret de la Cerdanya a partir de les coordenades imaginàries, emocionals i identitàries del mateix autor. The North-Catalan poet, playwright and novelist Jordi Pere Cerdà (the pseudonym of Antoni Cayrol, Saillagouse, 1920 - Perpignan, 2011) shows throughout his literary work a significant interest in depicting the physical and human geography of the French Cerdagne where he was born. The close attention paid to this territory is evidence of the author’s interest, as a literary explorer, in recreating his own most intimate experiences.
