L’étroite relation qui existait entre l’Église et le régime de Franco explique que l’attitude de la hiérarchie ecclésiastique envers ce clergé progressiste ait été ambiguë et ambivalente. This article concerns the resources that Spanish progressive priests used in order to take a stance against Franco’s dictatorship during the 60’s ant the 70’s. Their resources were determined by the privileged status that the Spanish Catholic Church had in the context of the dictatorship.
