After providing various important examples of pureness, we show our main result: Any composition of two pure maps factors through a pure object up to Cuntz equivalence. This is used to obtain several factorization results at the level of
C⁎-algebras.</dc:description><dc:date>2024</dc:date><dc:source>http://zaguan.unizar.es/record/147829</dc:source><dc:doi>10.1016/j.jfa.2024.110739</dc:doi><dc:identifier>http://zaguan.unizar.es/record/147829</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>oai:zaguan.unizar.es:147829</dc:identifier><dc:relation>info:eu-repo/grantAgreement/ES/DGA/E22-23R</dc:relation><dc:relation>info:eu-repo/grantAgreement/ES/MCINN/PID2020-113047GB</dc:relation><dc:identifier.citation>JOURNAL OF FUNCTIONAL ANALYSIS 288, 3 (2024), 110739 [27 pp.]</dc:identifier.citation><dc:rights>by-nc</dc:rights><dc:rights>https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0/deed.es</dc:rights><dc:rights>info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess</dc:rights></dc:dc>
