The project centers on critical literacy and artistic education as a means to promote the democ-ratization of art and social intervention through Street Art and Land Art. Within this framework, a didactic installation was carried out in the botanical garden of Huesca, using color as a tool to reclaim and revitalize an underutilized space, connecting artistic practice with new educational contexts that encourage critical reflection among citizens. The results indicate that the students have recontextu-alized Artistic Education within the realm of social commitment. Árboles cromáticos es un proyecto desarrollado en el aula de Educación Visual y Plástica de la Facultad de Ciencias Humanas y de la Educación de la Universidad de Zaragoza, en colaboración con el proyecto educativo POCTEFA MIGAP, fondos FEDER y el área de Cultura del Ayuntamiento de Huesca. El proyecto tiene como eje vertebrador la literacidad crítica y la educación artística como un medio para fomentar la democratización del arte y la intervención social a través del Street Art y el Land Art. Desde este marco, se llevó a cabo una instalación didáctica en el jardín botánico de Huesca, utilizando el color como herramienta para reivindicar y recuperar un espacio en desuso, conectando la práctica artística con nuevos contextos docentes que promueven la reflexión crítica entre la ciudadanía.
