The optimal solution of this problem requires solving a mixed integer non-linear programming problem which generally cannot be solved in real time. We propose instead to model the problem as a potential game, which decreases dramatically the computational complexity and obtains a user association and resource allocation close to the optimal solution. Additionally, the use of a game-theoretic approach allows an efficient distribution of the computational burden among the computational resources of the network.</dc:description><dc:date>2017</dc:date><dc:source>http://zaguan.unizar.es/record/149006</dc:source><dc:doi>10.1016/j.pmcj.2016.06.009</dc:doi><dc:identifier>http://zaguan.unizar.es/record/149006</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>oai:zaguan.unizar.es:149006</dc:identifier><dc:relation>info:eu-repo/grantAgreement/ES/DGA/T98</dc:relation><dc:relation>info:eu-repo/grantAgreement/EC/H2020/644262/EU/What to do With the Wi-Fi Wild West/Wi-5</dc:relation><dc:relation>This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program under grant agreement No H2020 644262-Wi-5</dc:relation><dc:relation>info:eu-repo/grantAgreement/ES/MICINN/TEC2011-23037</dc:relation><dc:relation>info:eu-repo/grantAgreement/ES/MICINN/TEC2014-52969-R</dc:relation><dc:relation>info:eu-repo/grantAgreement/ES/UZ/CUD2013-05</dc:relation><dc:identifier.citation>PERVASIVE AND MOBILE COMPUTING 35 (2017), 125-145</dc:identifier.citation><dc:rights>All rights reserved</dc:rights><dc:rights>http://www.europeana.eu/rights/rr-f/</dc:rights><dc:rights>info:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccess</dc:rights></dc:dc>
