000149059 5203_ $$aEl patrimonio cultural es una herramienta contra la despoblación, un ejemplo de ello, es el MUSEO SALVADOR VICTORIA, ubicado fuera de los circuitos urbanos en Rubielos de Mora (Comarca de Gúdar-Javalambre), provincia de Teruel [Comunidad Autónoma de Aragón (España)]. Una de las regiones más despobladas de España y de la Unión Europea. Este interesante museo se inauguró el año 2003 y fue posible, gracias a la donación de cuadros que el pintor y su esposa hicieron a este municipio. Consta, por un lado, de obras de este artista abstracto y, por otro, de obras que intercambió él con otros artistas abstractos españoles. Mostrando lo mejor de la expresión plástica española de la segunda mitad del siglo XX, en pintura y escultura. Además, la colección ha ido creciendo gracias a donaciones. Se ha mantenido durante estos 20 años gracias al empeño de sus artífices, al apoyo del Patronato de la Fundación Salvador Victoria. Y, a la labor gerente que han desempeñado los diferentes directores. Esta gestión y autogestión cultural ha supuesto una participación en la construcción de la memoria y en la vida cultural de Rubielos de Mora, debido a que el museo ha generado un valor añadido a la localidad, ha dinamizado el territorio, es un motor de desarrollo y un elemento de identidad de la localidad. Además, impacta favorablemente en el territorio con un valor económico y social, y es una herramienta contra la despoblación.
Cultural heritage serves as a tool against depopulation, and a prime example of this is the Salvador Victoria Museum, located off the urban circuits in Rubielos de Mora (Gúdar-Javalambre region), in the province of Teruel [Autonomous Community of Aragón (Spain)]. This is one of the most depopulated regions in both Spain and the European Union. This fascinating museum was inaugurated in 2003, made possible by the donation of paintings from the abstract artist Salvador Victoria and his wife to the municipality. The museum features works by the artist himself as well as pieces he exchanged with other Spanish abstract artists, showcasing some of the best Spanish artistic expressions in painting and sculpture from the second half of the 20th century. Additionally, the collection has grown over the years through further donations. The museum has been sustained over the past 20 years thanks to the dedication of its founders, the support of the Fundación Salvador Victoria board, and the management efforts of various directors. This cultural management and self-governance have contributed to the construction of memory and the cultural life of Rubielos de Mora. The museum has added significant value to the town, energized the territory, become a driving force for development, and established itself as a symbol of local identity. Furthermore, it has positively impacted the area economically and socially, making it a valuable tool in the fight against depopulation.
