The relationships between OSNR, electrical SNR and BER at the receiver are experimentally analyzed and compared to theoretical results. A linear dependency in dB is found between electrical SNR and subcarrier OSNR for total OSNR values below 26 dB. Above this limit, the correlation degree decreases due to the electrical SNR degradation at the edge subcarriers. The BER analysis per subcarrier also shows a clear correlation with the proposed in-band optical measurements.</dc:description><dc:date>2015</dc:date><dc:source>http://zaguan.unizar.es/record/149827</dc:source><dc:doi>10.1016/j.optcom.2014.12.062</dc:doi><dc:identifier>http://zaguan.unizar.es/record/149827</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>oai:zaguan.unizar.es:149827</dc:identifier><dc:relation>info:eu-repo/grantAgreement/EC/FP7/317999/EU/Industry-Driven Elastic and Adaptive Lambda Infrastructure for Service and Transport Networks/IDEALIST</dc:relation><dc:relation>info:eu-repo/grantAgreement/ES/MICYT/TSI-020100-2011-423</dc:relation><dc:relation>info:eu-repo/grantAgreement/ES/MINECO-FEDER/TEC2012-38119</dc:relation><dc:identifier.citation>Optics Communications 342 (2015), 144-151</dc:identifier.citation><dc:rights>by-nc-nd</dc:rights><dc:rights>https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/deed.es</dc:rights><dc:rights>info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess</dc:rights></dc:dc>
