In the present paper, a fractal technique generalizing cubic spline functions is applied. Under sorne hypothesis about the original signa!, error bounds of interpolation are given. Additionally, a quadrature formula to calcule the Hjorth mobility of a electroencephalographic recording is proposed, that complements the description of the signa! in the frequency domain. The results about the convergence of interpolation functions allow to deduce an expression for the computation error of the quantifying parameter by the method described.</dc:description><dc:date>2001</dc:date><dc:source>http://zaguan.unizar.es/record/150434</dc:source><dc:identifier>http://zaguan.unizar.es/record/150434</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>oai:zaguan.unizar.es:150434</dc:identifier><dc:identifier.citation>Revista de la Academia de Ciencias Exactas, Físico-Químicas y Naturales de Zaragoza 56 (2001), 77-92</dc:identifier.citation><dc:rights>All rights reserved</dc:rights><dc:rights>http://www.europeana.eu/rights/rr-f/</dc:rights><dc:rights>info:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccess</dc:rights></dc:dc>
