HS has a profound impact on patients and their family life. Several factors, such as comorbidities, unemployment and HS severity, make this impact even more severe. The most widely used instrument to measure this impact is the dermatology-specific DLQI. We also identified six HS-specific healthrelated quality of life (HRQoL) instruments. Of them, HIDRAdisk, HSIA, HiSQOL and HSQoL-24 are better validated but there is still lack of experience of its use. Several treatment methods showed positive effect on patients’ HRQoL. Surgery remains a method with a substantial positive effect on HRQoL. Several studies confirming a positive effect of adalimumab on the HRQoL of patients with HS were published during the last three years. Data on the influence of several other biologics on HRQoL of HS patients are controversial or based on studies with a small number of patients. 000151500 540__ $$9info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess$$aby$$uhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/es/ 000151500 590__ $$a4.614$$b2021 000151500 591__ $$aPUBLIC, ENVIRONMENTAL & OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH$$b45 / 182 = 0.247$$c2021$$dQ1$$eT1 000151500 591__ $$aENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES$$b100 / 279 = 0.358$$c2021$$dQ2$$eT2 000151500 591__ $$aPUBLIC, ENVIRONMENTAL & OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH$$b71 / 210 = 0.338$$c2021$$dQ2$$eT2 000151500 592__ $$a0.814$$b2021 000151500 593__ $$aPollution$$c2021$$dQ1 000151500 593__ $$aHealth, Toxicology and Mutagenesis$$c2021$$dQ1 000151500 594__ $$a4.5$$b2021 000151500 655_4 $$ainfo:eu-repo/semantics/review$$vinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersion 000151500 700__ $$aFinlay A.Y. 000151500 700__ $$0(orcid)0000-0003-1917-6906$$aTomas-Aragones L.$$uUniversidad de Zaragoza 000151500 700__ $$aPoot F. 000151500 700__ $$aSampogna F. 000151500 700__ $$0(orcid)0000-0001-5632-0351$$aMarron S.E.$$uUniversidad de Zaragoza 000151500 700__ $$aZemskov S.V. 000151500 700__ $$aAbeni D. 000151500 700__ $$aTzellos T. 000151500 700__ $$aSzepietowski J.C. 000151500 700__ $$aZouboulis C.C. 000151500 7102_ $$14009$$2735$$aUniversidad de Zaragoza$$bDpto.
