Stress and stress resistance calculation for assessing the adhesive bonding is performed. This includes analytical and simulation studies with Finite Element Analysis (FEA), contact substrate area calculation and real components experimental testing under ageing conditions such as high temperature, low temperature and humidity. To achieve this, standard DIN 2304-1:2020-04 was used as a reference for the definition of the methodology and to prove the fulfilment of the bonding requirements for the high quality structural joint design, covering all steps of the adhesive bonding process specially focusing on the joint design. The validation of this methodology was done with an electrical appliance, where metallic profiles are assembled with a ceramic glass by means of an adhesive structural bond. The results of the work prove that the evaluated bonding joint successfully meets the required criteria assuring that the stress is lower than stress resistance value.</dc:description><dc:date>2024</dc:date><dc:source>http://zaguan.unizar.es/record/153184</dc:source><dc:doi>10.1016/j.ijadhadh.2023.103568</dc:doi><dc:identifier>http://zaguan.unizar.es/record/153184</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>oai:zaguan.unizar.es:153184</dc:identifier><dc:identifier.citation>INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF ADHESION AND ADHESIVES 129 (2024), 103568 [10 pp.]</dc:identifier.citation><dc:rights>by-nc-nd</dc:rights><dc:rights>https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/deed.es</dc:rights><dc:rights>info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess</dc:rights></dc:dc>
