Putative dark photons would convert to detectable photons within a stack consisting of three sapphire disks and a mirror. The emitted power of this system is received by an antenna and successively digitized using a low-noise receiver. No significant signal attributable to dark photons has been observed above the expected background. Assuming unpolarized dark photon dark matter with a local density of ρχ=0.3 GeV cm3 we exclude a dark photon to photon mixing parameter χ>2.7×10−12 over the full mass range and χ>1.1×10−13 at a mass of 80.57 μeV/c2 with a 95% confidence level. This is the first physics result from a prototype and exceeds previous constraints on χ in this mass range by up to almost three orders of magnitude. 000153624 536__ $$9info:eu-repo/grantAgreement/ES/DGA-FSE/E21-17R$$9info:eu-repo/grantAgreement/ES/MICINN/PGC2022-126078NB-C21 000153624 540__ $$9info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess$$aby$$uhttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/deed.es 000153624 655_4 $$ainfo:eu-repo/semantics/article$$vinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersion 000153624 700__ $$aLeppla-Weber, D. 000153624 700__ $$aKnirck, S. 000153624 700__ $$aAry dos Santos Garcia, B. 000153624 700__ $$aBergermann, D. 000153624 700__ $$aCaldwell, A. 000153624 700__ $$aDabhi, V. 000153624 700__ $$aDiaconu, C. 000153624 700__ $$aDiehl, J. 000153624 700__ $$aDvali, G. 000153624 700__ $$aEkmedžic, M. 000153624 700__ $$aGallo, F. 000153624 700__ $$aGarutti, E. 000153624 700__ $$aHeyminck, S. 000153624 700__ $$aHubaut, F. 000153624 700__ $$aIvanov, A. 000153624 700__ $$aJochum, J. 000153624 700__ $$aKarst, P. 000153624 700__ $$aKramer, M. 000153624 700__ $$aKreikemeyer-Lorenzo, D. 000153624 700__ $$aKrieger, C. 000153624 700__ $$aLee, C. 000153624 700__ $$aLindner, A. 000153624 700__ $$aMaldonado, J.¿P.¿A. 000153624 700__ $$aMajorovits, B. 000153624 700__ $$aMartens, S. 000153624 700__ $$aMartini, A. 000153624 700__ $$aMiyazaki, A. 000153624 700__ $$aÖz, E. 000153624 700__ $$aPralavorio, P. 000153624 700__ $$aRaffelt, G. 000153624 700__ $$aRingwald, A. 000153624 700__ $$0(orcid)0000-0002-1044-8197$$aRedondo, J.$$uUniversidad de Zaragoza 000153624 700__ $$aRoset, S. 000153624 700__ $$aSalama, N. 000153624 700__ $$aSchaffran, J. 000153624 700__ $$aSchmidt, A. 000153624 700__ $$aSteffen, F. 000153624 700__ $$aStrandhagen, C. 000153624 700__ $$aUsherov, I. 000153624 700__ $$aWang, H. 000153624 700__ $$aWieching, G. 000153624 700__ $$aCancelo, G. 000153624 700__ $$aDi Federico, M. 000153624 700__ $$aHoshino, G. 000153624 700__ $$aStefanazzi, L. 000153624 700__ $$a 000153624 7102_ $$12004$$2405$$aUniversidad de Zaragoza$$bDpto.
