Tras una concisa valoración del adjetivo en la historia de la literatura griega, con el presente artículo subrayamos la relevancia religioso-moral —en términos cuantitativos y cualitativos— que la voz ἀναμάρτητος adquiere en la producción del Queronense, quien readapta el significado del vocablo y explora la acepción mencionada del mismo de una manera doctrinal, estilística y retóricamente innovadora: los seis pasajes pertinentes que aquí comentamos abocan a conclusiones de relevancia sobre los objetivos didácticomorales, religiosos y teológicos de Plutarco. The term ἀναμάρτητος, which has not yet been examined in a case study from a semantic point of view, deserves thorough consideration, par-ticularly attractive in Plutarch’s corpus. After concisely assessing the adjective in the history of Greek literature, in this article we will under-line the religious and moral relevance —both in quantitative and qualitative terms— that the word ἀναμάρτητος takes on in the work of Plu-tarch, who readjusts the meaning of the term and explores its religious and moral acceptation in a doctrinal, stylistic and rhetorically innovative way.
