The materials are based on hydrogen-bonded supramolecular structures formed from a melamine derivative as the central core and three peripheral dendrons functionalized with coumarin and azobenzene moieties that are organized in hexagonal columnar phases. Upon irradiation with circularly polarized light (CPL), the azobenzene units induce controlled chirality in the material, which is stabilized by photodimerization of the coumarin moieties, obtaining mechanically stable films. The elimination of the melamine template results in nanoporous materials that retain their homeotropic hexagonal columnar alignment. These materials show selective adsorption of one particular enantiomer of racemic mixtures of (hexan-2-yl)-4-nitroaniline. Pore chirality can be reversed by changing the handedness of the CPL, allowing nanoporous materials to adsorb predominantly one or the other enantiomer. These findings offer a versatile strategy for enantioselective separation with potential applications in pharmaceuticals and materials science. 000164116 536__ $$9info:eu-repo/grantAgreement/ES/AEI/CEX2023-001286-S$$9info:eu-repo/grantAgreement/ES/DGA/E47-23R$$9info:eu-repo/grantAgreement/ES/MICIN/PID2024-157398NB-I00$$9info:eu-repo/grantAgreement/ES/MINECO/PID2021-122882NB-I00$$9info:eu-repo/grantAgreement/ES/MINECO/PID2021-126132-NB-I00$$9info:eu-repo/grantAgreement/ES/MINECO/PID2024-156641NB-I00 000164116 540__ $$9info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess$$aby$$uhttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/deed.es 000164116 655_4 $$ainfo:eu-repo/semantics/article$$vinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersion 000164116 700__ $$0(orcid)0000-0001-8105-2432$$aLópez Ram de Viu, Pilar$$uUniversidad de Zaragoza 000164116 700__ $$0(orcid)0000-0003-1378-0571$$aRomero, Pilar 000164116 700__ $$aLiu, Danqing 000164116 700__ $$aBroer, Dirk J. 000164116 700__ $$0(orcid)0000-0001-5816-7960$$aBarberá, Joaquín$$uUniversidad de Zaragoza 000164116 700__ $$0(orcid)0000-0001-9866-6633$$aSerrano, José Luis$$uUniversidad de Zaragoza 000164116 7102_ $$12013$$2765$$aUniversidad de Zaragoza$$bDpto.
