A través de la actividad creadora artística, el alumnado se convierte en creador activo, elaborando sus propios álbumes ilustrados. Este enfoque arteducador, permite a los docentes en formación reflexionar e indagar sobre las técnicas y lenguajes necesarios a la narración secuencial desde lo visual y vivenciar el proceso artístico en primera persona. Esto les permite afrontar los desafíos y singularidades que caracterizan al proceso creador. Al mismo tiempo, este proyecto incide en la figura del maestro y de la maestra como diseñadores de su propio material arteducador. This teaching innovation project developed in three universities, explores the process of creating illustrated albums as an educational strategy in the training of students in Early Childhood and Primary Education. Through artistic creative activity, students become active creators, making their own illustrated albums. This art-educating approach allows teachers in training to reflect and inquire about the techniques and languages necessary for sequential narration from the visual and to experience the artistic process in the first person. This allows them to face the challenges and singularities that characterize the creative process.
