Seventeen PE teachers and their students (n = 813) were randomly assigned to the experimental or the control group as part of a three-wave longitudinal design. Improvements in (de)motivating teaching approaches and need-based experiences were found among both teachers and students. Additionally, positive changes were observed in students' outcomes both inside and outside PE classes, as well as in teachers' job-related outcomes.
