ecoefficiency use by the companies. In the next pages it
will be tried to define correctly the word ecoefficency on
a first place, for which will be studied the historical
definitions, and the ecoefficiency characteristics. After
this, it will be studied the different kinds of
ecoefficiency that may be applicable to the companies,
(depending on the used resources), and will be explained if
proceeded, the existing ways of measure the environmental
impact of the economic activity. Also some saving and
behavior guidelines will be mentioned in order to achieve
the ecoefficiency, and some examples of companies will be
given on each case. After this point that will be the main
body of this work, it will continue defining the different
advantages that comes with the ecoefficiency adoption, with
the aim of justifying implementation. Then, some obstacles
that may be found by different companies on their way to
apply the ecoefficiency will be explained. Afterwards, it
will be done a short study of thirty companies from Aragón
that had invest on changing the illumination of their
spaces, with the one they have not lost illuminated
surface, but saved on a significant quantity the amount of
energy used. At last but not least, some conclusions of
this work will be done that will try to make clear from an
economic point of view the use of ecoefficiency for
companies.",
