En la actualidad, la calidad y la esperanza de vida han aumentado notablemente gracias a un mayor conocimiento de la enfermedad y un tratamiento multidisciplinar, siendo de gran importancia el papel de enfermería a nivel educativo, especialmente a los padres, que serán los encargados de cuidar al niño. Objetivos: Diseñar un programa de educación sanitaria a los padres de niños con fibrosis quística diagnosticados recientemente. Metodología: Se ha realizado una búsqueda bibliográfica en distintas bases de datos científicas, la Asociación Aragonesa de Fibrosis Quística, la Fundación Española de Fibrosis Quística y la Biblioteca de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud de Zaragoza. Conclusiones: La Fibrosis Quística es una enfermedad grave, la cual requiere numerosos cuidados diarios. La enfermera pediátrica del hospital debe de ser la encargada de enseñarlos correctamente a los padres desde el momento del diagnóstico para lograr un mayor afrontamiento de la situación y una mejor calidad de vida del niño. At present, the quality of life expectancy has significantly increased due to a greater awareness of the disease and a multidisciplinary approach, being of great importance the role of nursing at a educational level, especially for parents, who will be the caregivers the child. Main Objective: Design a health education program for parents of children newly diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. Methodology: A literature review has been conducted consulting different scientific databases, Cystic Fibrosis Association of Aragón, the Spanish Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Library of the Health Sciences Faculty of Zaragoza. Conclusions: Cystic fibrosis is a serious disease which requires daily cares. The pediatric nurse at the hospital should be responsible for properly teaching parents the necessary skills from the time of diagnosis, in order to better cope with the situation and improve the quality of life of the child.
