Para llegar a comprender lo sucedido en ese año, es necesario analizar el nacimiento de las tensiones y contradicciones que surgieron dentro del sistema de la Restauración, y que se vieron aceleradas en el contexto de la Primera Guerra Mundial. En esta línea, también deberá encuadrarse el caso español dentro del contexto europeo. Ya en 1917, la crisis se manifestaría en tres planos: el militar, el político y el obrero. Se estudiarán las motivaciones a corto plazo del estallido de las protestas y su desarrollo. Se verá hasta qué punto hubo relación entre los tres casos y los puntos que los separaban. Además, se analizará el porqué de la supervivencia del régimen a este envite. Finalmente, se habla de las herencias que dejó este año, hasta qué punto dejó deslegitimado al sistema alfonsino y las conexiones existentes con el golpe de estado de Primo de Rivera. This essay considers the progress of the Spanish Crisis of 1917. To understand what happened that year, it is necessary to analyze the start of the tensions and contradictions that emerged inside the Restoration system, which were accelerated in the context of the First World War. Along these lines, the Spanish case should be put in the frame of the European context. In 1917, the crisis would appear in three areas: military, political, and working area. The essay considers the incentives in the short-term in the crash of the protests and its development. It studies the relationship between the three areas and the facets that separated them. It also analyzes why the system survived to this push. Finally, we analyze the inheritance of this year, its delegitimation in the Alfonso XIII's system and the connections with the coup d'etat of Primo de Rivera.
