In these scenarios, real-time services as online games can also be present. This paper presents a set of experiments developed in a test scenario where an end device moves between different APs while generating game traffic. A WLAN solution based on virtual APs is used, in order to make the handoffs transparent for Layer 3. The results show that it is possible to maintain an acceptable level of subjective quality during the handoff. At the same time, it is set clear that the fact of having a gamer in an AP could be taken into account by radio resource management algorithms, in order to provide a better quality. 000056190 536__ $$9This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program under grant agreement No H2020 644262-Wi-5$$9info:eu-repo/grantAgreement/EC/H2020/644262/EU/What to do With the Wi-Fi Wild West/Wi-5 000056190 540__ $$9info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess$$aby$$uhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/es/ 000056190 655_4 $$ainfo:eu-repo/semantics/article$$vinfo:eu-repo/semantics/acceptedVersion 000056190 700__ $$aCruz, De La 000056190 700__ $$0(orcid)0000-0003-0182-0652$$aSequeira, L.$$uUniversidad de Zaragoza 000056190 700__ $$0(orcid)0000-0002-5237-0447$$aFernandez-Navajas, J.$$uUniversidad de Zaragoza 000056190 700__ $$0(orcid)0000-0003-4690-6089$$aRuiz-Mas, J.$$uUniversidad de Zaragoza 000056190 7102_ $$15008$$2560$$aUniversidad de Zaragoza$$bDpto.
