The procedure is very effective to relieve the obstructive symptoms of advanced malignancies, with important clinical benefits and significant improvement in quality of life for the patients. Despite much advancement in the designs of SEMS, enteral stent placement is still associated with some significant early and late complications. Stent dysfunction mainly caused by tumor ingrowth/over growth, and stent migration when covered stent are used, are relatively common complications and many times require reinterventions. 000056309 540__ $$9info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess$$aby-nc$$uhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/3.0/es/ 000056309 592__ $$a0.108$$b2016 000056309 593__ $$aGastroenterology$$c2016$$dQ4 000056309 593__ $$aRadiology, Nuclear Medicine and Imaging$$c2016$$dQ4 000056309 593__ $$aOncology$$c2016$$dQ4 000056309 593__ $$aHepatology$$c2016$$dQ4 000056309 655_4 $$ainfo:eu-repo/semantics/review$$vinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersion 000056309 700__ $$0(orcid)0000-0002-5618-7519$$aDe Gregorio, Miguel Angel$$uUniversidad de Zaragoza 000056309 700__ $$0(orcid)0000-0003-0296-1617$$aLaborda García, Alicia$$uUniversidad de Zaragoza 000056309 700__ $$aCastaño, Rodrigo 000056309 7102_ $$11010$$2770$$aUniversidad de Zaragoza$$bDpto.
