Resumen: El desarrollo experimentado en las últimas décadas por los estudios de los cabildos catedralicios hispánicos ha puesto de manifiesto el importante papel desempeñado por estos religiosos en el marco social y en las relaciones de poder. El presente trabajo aborda un análisis sociopolítico del cabildo catedralicio pamplonés entre los años 1194 y 1266 que, partiendo del desarrollo de una prosopografía de los canónigos, ha permitido conocer el marco institucional y la jerarquización interna, las características sociales de sus integrantes, la existencia de redes de poder o clientelas en el seno del cabildo y la naturaleza de las relaciones establecidas entre ellos. Abstract The development experienced on the last decades by the studies of the hispanic Cathedral Chapters, has revealed the importance of the canons on the social environment and the power relations. The following research raises a socio-political analysis of the Cathedral Chapter of Pamplona from 1194 to 1266. The prosopographic analysis has cast light on the institutional framework, the internal hierarchical organization, the social features of its members, the existence of social networks and the character of the relationships between them. With all this, we pretend to do the first step towards a detailed analysis of the institution that allows to appreciate on the sociopolitical dimension of the institution and who belong to it.
