Notas: Ephemeral rivers are temporary river courses that pose a much greater risk than the river channels; in addition the study covering this type of river bed is poor in the scientific, technical and human. The major problems associated with these courses are those caused by stormy phenomena that discharge large amounts of precipitation in mountain areas that are sometimes invisible to the population of the population nuclei that are within the watershed that the ephemeral channel composes. In the present work the geographical area of the Iberian ridge has been chosen because it is a mountainous territory with great probability of storms during the summer season of great magnitude. It has been studied the set of 10 distributed ephemeral channels that cross zones of urban nuclei of different populations, which has been studied the morphology of their basins to analyze the risk that they entail before a flash flood
