La fiancée du violoniste y Le meurtre de Suzy Pommier: dos novelas de Emmanuel Bove más allá del género policiaco

Resumen: Emmanuel Bove es conocido sobre todo por novelas que retratan antihéroes que no encuentran su lugar en la sociedad. Sin embargo, también es autor de algunas novelas policiacas que firma en ocasiones con seudónimo. La fiancée du violoniste y Le meurtre de Suzy Pommier son dos novelas policiacas que publicó en 1932 y permiten ilustrar las características y la evolución de un género considerado menor incluso por su autor. Por otro lado, enmarcando su estudio en el conjunto de la obra de Bove también hallamos en ellas los elementos recurrentes que definen su estilo en lo que se refiere a la presentación y la caracterización del espacio.

Emmanuel Bove is known mostly for novels that portray antiheros that do not find their place in society. However, he is also the author of some detective novels published sometimes under a pseudonym. La fiancée du violoniste and Le meurtre de Suzy Pommier are two detective novels published in 1932 which show the main characteristics and the evolution of a genre considered minor even by their author. In addition, framing their study within Bove’s work we also find in them the features that define his style regarding the presentation and characterization of the space.
