000061552 5203_ $$aEn este trabajo se describe una experiencia realizada por 16 alumnos de 1º de bachillerato, con el objetivo de promover el desarrollo de las destrezas científicas implicadas en la resolución de tres actividades de indagación. Se identifica y describe el nivel de adquisición alcanzado por los estudiantes en cada una de las destrezas científicas, y se discuten las dificultades encontradas . Las actividades realizadas se enmarcan dentro la indagación dirigida. En estas actividades, el profesor formula la pregunta a investigar y los alumnos han de: 1) reconocer el objetivo del estudio; 2) diseñar el experimento; 3) realizar la recogida y análisis de datos; y 4) establecer las conclusiones en base a estos . Los resultados mostraron que si bien los alumnos eran capaces de reconocer el objetivo a investigar, identificar y describir las variables a investigar y de seleccionar las técnicas e instrumentos en base a éstas, encontraron dificultades en la búsqueda y selección de información, la interpretación y discusión de sus resultados y la formulación de conclusiones.
In this work, we describe an experience carried out with 1611th grade students, with the aim of promoting the development of the scientific skills involved in solving three inquiry-based activities. We identify and describe the level of students’ attainment in each scientific skill, and discuss the difficulties encountered by them. The activities carried out in this study can be classified such as directed inquiries. In these activities, the teacher raises the question and the students should: 1) recognize the objective of the study; 2) design the experiment; 3) collect and analyse the data; and 4) establish the conclusions. The results showed that although the students were able to recognize the objective to investigate, to identify and describe the variables and to select the techniques and instruments based on them , they found difficulties finding and selecting information, interpreting and discussing the results from the experiment and establishing conclusions .
