Notas: Catalina de Erauso, better known as the nun ensign, is one of the most debated and extravagant figures of our Golden Age, for being a woman disguised as a man, who led a life of walking around American territory and became part of the military with the recognized purpose of obtaining rewards. In this work I intend to study the hybrid condition of the work attributed to it, Historia de la Monja Alférez, Catalina de Erauso, escrita por ella misma, because it is a narrative of an autobiographical nature with a picaresque style very common in its time, combined with materials of travel books of the time.
