Resumen: Breve presentación de la asignatura Para esta asignatura optativa de 4º curso se retoman los objetivos lingüísticos y algunos de los contenidos enciclopédicos que se trabajaron en Inglés en educación Infantil II, tratando de ampliar los conocimientos ya adquiridos por el futuro maestro de infantil. Así pues, se continuará avanzando hacia el nivel C1 de competencia en lengua inglesa a partir del B2, que quedará plenamente consolidado. Se profundizará en las estructuras gramaticales conocidas, se adquirirán otras nuevas y se desarrollarán más estrategias de aprendizaje y comunicación, con especial atención a las destrezas escritas. Además, se mantendrá la máxima coherencia con el tratamiento de los aspectos de interés profesional que se abordaron tanto en Inglés en educación Infantil I como en Inglés en educación Infantil II. Programa de la asignatura La planificación de las diferentes actividades de aprendizaje puede incluir, a modo de ejemplo, los siguientes cuatro temas relevantes para el futuro maestro de infantil especialista en educación bilingüe: 1. Society, culture and institutions in English-speaking countries.  2. Bilingualism and bilingual education. 3. Educational communities: intergroup relations and the parent-child-teacher triangle. 4. Playful language in children literature, games and folklore.

Abstract: This elective 4th year module draws on the language objectives and part of the content topics dealt with in English in infant education II, with the aim of expanding students' language competence from a B2 level in English, which they are expected to consolidate, to C1. Through this module, students will delve deeper into familiar grammatical structures, will acquire new onesand will develop more strategies for learning and communicating in English, with special emphasis on written skills. In addition, and in line with English in infant education I and English in infant education II, this module will also cover a range of professional aspects relevant to the pre-service training of future nursery EFL teachers.   Program The learning activities planned may draw on aspects from any of the following content areas, all of which are clearly of interest to the future specialist teacher in bilingual education:1. Children around the world.2. New ideas in education.3. Academic English skills.4. Learning to learn English.
