Resumen: Breve presentación de la asignatura Esta asignatura pretende revisar los contenidos científicos de Biología que comprenden las diferentes asignaturas que pueden impartirse desde la especialidad de Biología, tanto en la ESO como en el Bachillerato.  Se ha concebido seleccionando aquellos aspectos de mayor interés en el campo de la Biología, aspectos fundamentales que pueden y deben complementar la formación en Biología de los titulados de otras especialidades. Por ello se recomienda la asistencia y participación activa de los alumnos, haciendo énfasis en el desarrollo de tareas cooperativas. Los alumnos deben conocer que cuentan con el apoyo continuo del profesorado de la asignatura plasmado en las tutorías diseñadas para hacer efectivo este apoyo.  

Abstract: This subject aims to review the scientific contents of biology which comprise the different subjects that can teach in the specialty of biology (primary and secondary school). This subject has been organized by selecting those aspects of interest in the field of biology, fundamental aspects that can and should complement the training in biology for graduates from other specialties. We recommend that the assistance and active participation of the students. Students should know that they have the continued support of teachers of the subject reflected in the tutorials designed to give effect to this support.
