Resumen: Breve presentación de la asignatura El objetivo de la asignatura Física I, ubicada en el primer cuatrimestre del grado es proporcionar al Graduado en Ingeniería Química el conocimiento y las habilidades relacionadas con los fundamentos físicos básicos involucrados en la mecánica y termodinámica. Debe servir de base para la asignatura Física II que se imparte en el segundo cuatrimestre, así como para materias técnicas de cursos superiores. Dado su carácter generalista el programa es amplio y atiende principalmente a aspectos básicos que proporcionarán al alumno sólidas bases y rigor técnico-científico.

Abstract: Brief presentation of the subject The goal of the Physics I curse, given during the first semester, is to provide the Chemical Engineering graduate the knowledge and skills related to the physical fundamentals about Mechanics and Thermodynamics. It constitutes the basis for the Physics II course, imparted during the second semester of the first year, as well as for theoretical courses of higher years. Given its generalist approach, the spectrum of contents is wide, and focused on a fundamental approach that will provide the student with solid foundations and technical and scientific thoroughness.
