Resumen: Breve presentación de la asignatura La asignatura presenta la Teoría de Circuitos como técnica fundamental mediante la que se describen, analizan e interpretan los sistemas asociados a la mayor parte de los ámbitos de la Ingenería Eléctrica y Electrónica. Posee una orientación primaria instrumental en el sentido de que se estudia la Teoría de Circuitos por sí misma, correspondiendo a las asignaturas posteriores utilizarla en el estudio de problemas ingenieriles reales. Pese a ello, la asignatura no renuncia a un carácter aplicado, de forma que en su desarrollo se van presentando algunos de los problemas básicos de la Ingeniería Eléctrica. Desde el punto de vista experimental, la asignatura aporta las destrezas necesarias para la utilización de los instrumentos de medida correspondientes a las magnitudes eléctricas básicas.  

Abstract: This course presents the Circuit Theory as a fundamental technique to describe and analyze most of the fields of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. It has an instrumental orientation so Circuit Theory is studied by itself. Electrical/Electronic courses in the following semesters will use it to analize real engineering problems. Despite this, the course also has an applied character, hence in its development some of the basic problems of the Electrical Engineering are presented.From the experimental point of view, the course provides the skills needed for the use of measuring instruments of the basic electrical quantities.
