000070583 5203_ $$aLos días 26, 27 y 28 de marzo de 2015 se celebró, en la Universidad de Zaragoza (España), el “Congreso Internacional de Montañismo CIMA2015”. Sus conclusiones se condensaron en un documento denominado “Retos del montañismo en el siglo xxi”, dirigido fundamentalmente a las organizaciones de montañismo. En España, una sola federación, la Federación Española de Deportes de Montaña y Escalada, sostenida por las federaciones autonómicas integradas en ella, aglutina diferentes modalidades deportivas. Sin embargo, las organizaciones de montañismo, reglamentadas y gestionadas desde la administración deportiva, se verán obligadas a tender puentes de comunicación con administraciones turísticas, medioambientales, de interior, educativas, etc., para dar cumplimiento a los retos del siglo xxi. Además, empresas y organizaciones de muy diverso signo, coinciden en el mismo terreno de juego: el medio natural. Para dar respuesta a esos “retos”, las federaciones y clubes deportivos parten de la legislación que existe en estos momentos. En el artículo se expone la panorámica legislativa actual y se reflexiona sobre las fortalezas, debilidades y conexiones que les permitirán cumplir con los “Retos del montañismo en el siglo XXI”.
The International Mountaineering Congress CIMA2015 was held at the University of Zaragoza (Spain) on 26-28 March 2015. Its findings were summarized in a document entitled "Challenges of Mountaineering in the 21st century", primarily aimed at mountaineering organizations. In Spain, the Spanish Federation of Mountaineering and Climbing, formed by the different regional federations, brings together different sports. However, mountaineering organizations, regulated and managed by the sports administration, will have to build communication bridges with tourism, environmental, interior, education and other administrations to meet the challenges of the 21st century. In addition, a diverse range of companies and organizations are on the same playing field: the natural environment. To tackle these "challenges", sports federations and clubs are using the legislation that exists at the moment. In this article we examine the current legislative panorama and discuss the strengths, weaknesses and connections that will make it possible to meet the "challenges of mountaineering in the 21st century".
