Resumen: La disponibilidad de información económico-financiera adecuada y en tiempo oportuno es una necesidad ineludible en un entorno globalizado como el actual. La contabilidad financiera es un sistema de información que desempeña un papel crucial en el proceso de toma de decisiones en cualquier ámbito de la actividad económica. En esta asignatura preparamos a los estudiantes para ser capaces de registrar la realidad económico-financiera en los libros de contabilidad, y poder elaborar e interpretar la información de síntesis sobre la riqueza de las entidades y sus variaciones, que se proporcionará a los diferentes usuarios interesados.

Abstract: The availability of adequate and timely economic-financial information is an unavoidable need in a globalized environment such as the current one. Financial accounting is an information system that plays a crucial role in the decision-making process in whatever ambit of economic activity. In this course, students are prepared to be able of registering the economic and financial reality in the accounting ledgers and of elaborating and interpreting the synthesised information that will be provided to different interested users about the wealth of the entities and its variations.
