Resumen: Breve presentación de la asignatura Gran parte del trabajo del Ingeniero Agroalimentario y del Medio Rural va a ser realizado sobre el territorio. Para el correcto desempeño de su profesión va a tener que conocer y representar el territorio sobre el que realizar sus análisis y sus proyectos, o gestionar el territorio. Deberá ser capaz de recoger datos sobre él, representarlos en un mapa, diseñar acciones y plantear esos diseños sobre el terreno. Para ellos deberá conocer y saber todo tipo de técnicas cartográficas y topográficas. 

Abstract: Mapping and surveying allows us to understand and manage the territory. It is essential to design and manage engineering activities that must undertake on the territory tool. This course allows you to answer a series of questions such as: 1. How the surface of the earth is represented? 2. What mapping systems exist to represent the surface of the earth? 3. How the data is taken for taking data from the Earth's surface? 4. What are the topographic instruments used in making topographic data? 5. What tools and techniques they are most suitable for each case?
