Cancelación del condición de reflexión interna total

Resumen: Se muestra un sencillo experimento en el que se cancela la condición de reflexión total. Cuando se reduce el espacio entre una superficie curva y una interfaz metacrilato-aire es posible eliminar dicha interfaz y cancelar la condición de reflexión total en una pequeña región. Este hecho queda patente en la forma de un haz de luz transmitido así como una línea de sombra en el haz reflejado.
An easy experiment about the cancelation of the total internal reflection condition is shown. Reducing the air gap between a curved surface and an acrylic-air interface it is possible to eliminate the interface allowing the cancellation of the total reflection condition at a small area. This fact becomes clear in the form of a beam light in the transmitted direction as well as a shadow line in the reflected beam.
